Netflix streaming service is now finally launching shuffle play using an algorithm to choose your next best watch.
While the famous movie streamer has been testing shuffle feature since April 2019, there is no official launch date just yet, which means we can expect it to come sometime in the first half of 2021.
The new feature is meant to make it easier for users to sift through the overwhleming catalogue of the content and help them watch a great movie next which they didn’t know existed within the streaming service’s database.
Does that make sense?
Basically the the sheer size of the streaming platform’s catalogue actually scares people away, instead of intriguing them to see a show. And while Netflix has a vast content catalogue is not in doubt, a lot of people still struggle to find something to watch on the platform.
