Microsoft Teams to Get New Updates that will Eliminate Distractions

Microsoft is currently working on new features that will enable Teams users hide their video feeds during calls.

That is not all: the company is also working on a feature that enables users to pin their video feed to their screen.

Microsoft is developing these features to help Teams users maintain focus during calls and meetings. This is because some people find looking at themselves during video calls distracting. According to Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the source of this news, the company has scheduled these updates for release in November. They will be available on both the desktop and web app versions of the product.

And while these updates are new for Microsoft Teams, they’ve been present on Google Meet and Zoom for some time.
