Sixteen years ago Yahoo Answers was launched, a Yahoo service that’s shutting down soon.
The reason behind Yahoo Answers is deciding to shut down is because it became less popular among their users by having an option to choose alternative services.
With that being said, Yahoo Answers came to decision to discontinue their services on April 5th 2021. However their website will still show up on read mode only till the 20th of April 2021.
During that time, users will not be able to post anything by read the previously posted question and answers. They can also download a copy through signing into Your Privacy Dashboard and requesting a download.
By May 4th 2021, the site will no longer be available but will not cause any changes to other services that they offer and they can be still used.
They will continue to focus on improving their existing services.
