WhatsApp Plans To Remove Support From Old Phone

Reports suggest that WhatsApp will soon pull support for older iPhones that run iOS 9 or earlier.

According to WABetaInfo, a reliable outfit that tracks changes in upcoming apps, WhatsApp’s latest beta version will not support these early versions of iOS. This development indicates the media company’s intention even though it has yet to say anything about it.

This decision will majorly affect iPhone 4 and 4S users as they cannot upgrade to a later iOS version. However, those with iPhone 5 upwards simply need to upgrade to a later iOS version to continue using the app.
