Just like other apps for instance Tiktok, YouTube has to enrolled “YouTube Shorts” in the US.
YouTube short means videos of one minute with basic features. It’ll be within the app, listed downwards as a carousel style interface, which means you can scroll left and right for more videos but with no auto play feature.
It has options for you to comment, like, dislike and share with people outside the app, just like the other videos on YouTube.
This feature had already been available in India, and with its success, Google decided to expand it in US in beta version. It began enrolling in the app since March.
However there’s no further news of it’s availability in other countries as yet!
