Upcoming Steam Festival to Feature 500 Free Playable Games

Game company, Valve, announced on February 1st that the upcoming Steam Game Festival will have 500 free demos from indie developers. The reason for this is to give gamers a feel for the games before they pay for them.

The purpose of this festival is to introduce gamers to new and upcoming titles. Also, it will give them – gamers – an opportunity to interact with developers and ask them questions. The event will run from February 3 to 9.

With gaming festivals all over the world cancelled because of the pandemic, this event is a welcome development.

Furthermore, Steam released a teaser trailer with some of the titles to look forward to. They include Fling to the Finish by Splitside Games, Genesis Noir by Feral Cat Den, and Almighty: Kill Your Gods, by Runwild Entertainment.

Gamers looking to take full advantage of the occasion should consider upgrading their gaming monitor. There are tips on how to do that here. Furthermore, they should consider getting the budget gaming gadgets available here.
