RoboCop Video Game Announced, Set for 2023 Release

Terminator: Resistance studio Teyon is working on a RoboCop-inspired video game, RoboCop: Rogue City, with a 2023 release date.

The studio will work alongside Nacon and MGM to make this a reality, it announced at Nacon Connect 2021. And while the game’s story will be new, the developers will base it on the original RoboCop trilogy.

MGM released the first RoboCop movie in 1987. Nacon believes its enduring legacy proves it has “transcended pop culture.” The trailer, also released today, does not giveaway much about what to expect. Nevertheless, Nacon announced the game will be “faithful to the franchise’s DNA.”

It will be available on both PCs and consoles.
