Ring, an Amazon company, launched a new wired home doorbell yesterday, January 27. The device, named Ring Video Doorbell Wired, is its cheapest yet at $60.
In spite of the cheap price, Ring Video doorbell doesn’t scrimp on features: it has a 1080p camera, night vision, custom motion detection zones, and two-way audio. It can also integrate seamlessly with Amazon’s Echo products for enhanced functionality.
This new home security device offers an affordable alternative to the company’s more expensive offerings. However, as the name suggests, it is wired. For this reason, it is a great bargain for people with pre-existing wiring or knowledge of how to set one up.
