Remittance Company TransferWise is Now Rebranded as Wise

Cofounder Kristo Käärmann just announced they are renaming their famous remittance company TransferWise to Wise or Wise Business with new website address as wise.com.

The new name Wise is especially for the people who had the wisdom to acknowledge how expensive, tiresome, slow and restrictive the whole process was. This vision and trust alone has convinced the company founders to change the name for the community that believed in them and the service they offer.

TransferWise was initially just a money remittance service offering transparent fee structure to show how inexpensive and quick they were compared to the rest. They later added borderless personal accounts and added several currencies between which money could be exchanged and transfered.

The change of company name means that the website address is becoming wise.com, but username and password remains unchanged for everyone. The major changes will reflect in the logo, design, colours and words.

The money transfer service offers business accounts, debit cards and very recently added additional cards for employees as well. We worte a review on Wise which you should definitely read if you’re too, like us, intrigued by their service offerings.
