Opera Releases New Version R5 with Major Updates

Opera this week released a new version of its web browser tagged R5.

The new version aims to improve collaboration among users. Also, it greatly improves on user experience, as is usually the case with Opera products. And it makes video calling more convenient with a pop out window for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

The developers made these updates to address the needs of people working from home, which has recently increased. With all its features, users can get more value from their browser and be less likely to leave it.

There are other new features including Pinboards – a Pinterest-like feature – for saving websites, links, images, and notes. What’s more? You can share your Pinboards with others, too. Also, there are new wallpapers for both light and dark themes. And an integration of four additional music streaming platforms – Deezer, SoundCloud, Ganaa, and Tidal – alongside Spotify and Apple Music.

Opera is a multi-platform web browser. As a result, this update is available on Mac, Windows, and Linux systems.
