IKEA has announced its new line of gaming furniture and products will go on sale in the US, UK, and Ireland from October 1.
The popular Swedish furniture company is releasing over 30 products across six different families. The six families are Uppspel, Utespelare, Hudvudspelare, Matchspel, Gruppspel, and Lånespelare. While the company collaborated with ASUS ROG on the Uppspel product family only, its other product lines were also inspired by the insights from that collaboration.
IKEA developed the products to fulfill three basic goals for gamers: design, price, and high performance.
The products include a PC stand, pegboard, mug, neck pillow, and mouse pad. They also include a gaming desk, a ring light, headphone stands, and gaming chairs. The items cost a diverse range of prices and are affordable when compared to similar gaming products. As a result, there is something for every gamer, regardless of their budget.
While IKEA will launch a substantial number of these products on October 1, it won’t launch others until January 2022.
