Google Workspace, formerly G Suite, is getting an upgrade that will enhance remote work.
The features coming to this product are numerous. For instance, the company is releasing its Workspace Google Assistant that was only available in beta mode. Also, there will be a Google Workspace Front line service for front line staff.
Furthermore, Google Meet will have second-screen options for people to log in to meetings from multiple devices. This feature will enable users to perform several functions simultaneously, such as share their screens and chat. What’s more? There is a Focus Mode event for limiting notifications when you are busy and several security updates, among others.
With these additions, the tech giant aims to ensure that people working from home are on the same footing as their colleagues in the office.
