Apple released the iOS 15 for general download on Monday, September 20.
The software is free to download and is suitable for every iPhone device from iPhone 6S onward. It comes with a slew of new features, including Live Text, Wallet, Focus Mode, and UI tweaks.
For instance, the new OS features Face Time upgrades that will make its video chat app more encompassing. This includes the inclusion of spatial audio where people’s voices will appear to come from their position on the screen. It also includes the ability to generate unique links for people on Android and Windows devices to participate in Face Time calls, among other things.
Other features include Live Text that will allow you copy texts in images and paste them elsewhere and gaming controls. Also, it features an improved iPhone Wallet app that will allow you use your phone as an ID and open car doors and hotel room doors.
Alongside iOS 15 release, Apple also rolled out watch OS 8 for Apple Watch users. Its range of new features include new workout types and the ability to share health information with family members and physicians.
