You all know about the new Facebook News Feed that was launched two days back and which is now trickling its way down to people slowly.
For the very same reason, Facebook has acquired Storylane, a blogging platform that allows its users (whom they call ‘storytellers’) to share photos, questions, realisations, and advice.
The platform’s founder, Jonathan Gheller, blogged about the news in the Storylane website earlier today telling Storylane members that they have already been acquired by Facebook.
So basically this acquisition should have come some time before rather than now, but the plan is to have Facebook’s News Feed look more personalized. The Storylane team will be responsible for the redesign of the new News Feed to transform it into a personalized newspaper for each Facebook user.
